About a month ago, reports in the media started to surface related to a new GP track, right in the heart of London city. F1 cars racing through historic landmarks like the Buckingham palace, and Trafalgar Square was just too much for F1 fans.
But this news has been shunned by many skeptics who are of the opinion that such a track is not 'realistic' and a bit of a 'sham'.
Ecclestone however believes the track will see the light of day and is serious about it.

"We are getting on with it. It is no joke, 100 percent completely no joke," he told The Guardian.
"With the way things are, maybe we would front it and put the money up for it," he said.
"If we got the okay and everything was fine, I think we could do that."
